Sealing and shock-absorbing tapes and die-cuts

Self-adhesive foam tapes, commonly known as washers, are used during mounting of induction and electric plates to the tabletop; they seal the joint, prevent micro-shifts and leakage of fluids under the plate. Shock-absorbing elements made of rubber and silicone are used as the so-called bumpons to protect glass covers on cookers and gas hobs. Rubber and foam spacers applied to the bottom of burner grilles and grates absorb and damp vibrations and prevent surface scratching.
