Self-adhesive labels are commonly used to mark products and packaging in many industries. Thermal transfer and thermal printers are devices that print on paper and foil labels, textile labels, cardboard tags and synthetic bands. Therefore, thermal transfer label printers are used in manufacturing industries such as automotive, electronics, household appliances, textile, food, as well as in laboratories, trade, logistics and healthcare.
Depending on the individual needs of each company and the conditions in which printers it is to work, there are different models of printers available – desktop, semi-industrial and industrial. Industrial printers are adapted to print a very large number of labels, and even continuous operation in 3-shift mode, while maintaining high print quality. Their design is also adapted to work in difficult conditions. The spacious housing accommodates large rolls of labels and ribbon so that they do not have to be changed frequently, while protecting them from dirt. Industrial self-adhesive label printers are most often used on production lines, in large warehouses and in logistics centers. Desktop label printers have a compact size that allows you to place the device in an office, laboratory, retail and service outlet. They are perfect for printing small quantities of labels. Semi-industrial printers, on the other hand, are also small in size, but comparable in performance to industrial printers.
We offer label printers with different printhead resolutions. As a standard, it is a resolution of 203dpi, which ensures sufficient print quality for shipping, product and information labels. Printers with a head with an increased resolution of 300dpi are equally popular. When printing graphics, logos, small fonts, and 2D codes, a higher printhead resolution is recommended. Label printers with a high resolution of 600dpi provide very good print quality, which translates not only into the aesthetics of labels, but also into the readability of barcodes and two-dimensional 2D codes. High-resolution printhead printers are used to print codes on very small labels in the automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical and laboratory industries.
Label printers are also available with different print widths, which are specified in inches. Depending on the model, the printer allows printing widths from 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″. Printer models with a print width of 2 inches are designed for printing narrow labels, tickets, receipts and wristbands. Standard printhead width of 4 inches, allows you to print multiple sizes of labels. The printers with a printhead width of 6 inches and 8 inches are devices for printing logistics labels in the 148×210 mm format, as well as wide-format transfer and production markings.
