Labels with printed identification number are used for production traceability process of power cables. During the production of wire harnesses particular cables or groups of cables are labelled. The most common way to do this is to use flag labels or wrap-around labels on which cable identification data are printed in the form of a number or bar code. Where bar codes are used, their automatic reading shortens the time of verification of particular elements and reduces the number of errors.
