Today there is no need to convince anyone how well RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) works in managing returnable transport items, which are essential for the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics and […]
RFID labels are markings consisting of a miniature chip that allows the recording of information and an antenna that determines the reading distance. The most popular solutions are a self-adhesive and non-adhesive labels with an RFID tags attached. RFID tags are also available in the form of tokens, cards, tags and wristbands. The main advantages of RFID tags are the ability to save a large amount of information in the chip and read data from a long distance from many tags at the same time. RFID tags can be divided according to the radio frequency range:
- Low Frequency (LF) – reading from a distance of up to several centimeters
- High Frequency (HF) – reading from a distance of up to several dozen centimeters
- Ultra High Frequency (UHF) – reading from a distance of several to several meters
RFID labels and markings are used on production lines, in warehouses, in broadly understood logistics, as well as in the administrative and HR areas.
