Surface protection films and die-cuts – are the elements most often made of transparent self-adhesive foils. Depending on the characteristics of the applied adhesive they can be used both for temporary and permanent protection of the product surface against dirt, scratches and damage. Temporary protection is usually limited to the protection of delicate, glossy surfaces during assembly, processing or transport. In such case the adhesive which does not leave any residue on the protected surface is of key importance. in case of permanent protection of products, the type of applied foil is essential.
