Next-generation automation: AGV/AMR autonomous forklift robots in Etisoft’s portfolio

29 May 2026 - Michał Majnusz

Rising operating costs, time pressure and the ongoing challenge of finding qualified forklift operators are part of everyday reality for modern warehouses and logistics centres. To maintain process continuity, traditional internal transport must be replaced with solutions that are fully predictable, safe and reliable. Intralogistics automation is now entering the era of intelligent, self-learning AMR mobile robots. Modern AGV/AMR autonomous forklift robots, which learn the topology of the facility and optimise the transport space with precision, are now available in Etisoft’s portfolio.

In this article, we take a closer look at two advanced mobile forklifts from the IntraBot series that are transforming pallet transport.

The compact stacker-type IntraBot Fork 3.0 is an intelligent robotic forklift designed to work in narrow aisles and stack loads.

The more powerful IntraBot ReachTruck is an AMR autonomous forklift robot equipped with extendable forks, allowing precise pallet handling also from the closed side.

Both autonomous forklift robots have been designed for continuous 24/7 operation, including demanding and intensive production environments.

How do IntraBot autonomous forklift robots work? Discover their shared features and advantages

Precision, 360° safety and employee protection

Safe cooperation with people and operating precision are priorities for AGV/AMR devices. IntraBot self-driving forklifts set the highest standards in this area, carrying out tasks through advanced hardware and software systems.

Safety lidars: A specially designed scanner system monitors a full 360 degrees around the robot, making the working area safe for employees.

Dynamic safety zones: Their size is adjusted in real time to the current speed of the machine. When an obstacle is detected, algorithms search for an alternative route in real time. If bypassing the obstacle is possible, the robot performs the manoeuvre and returns to its route. If it is not possible to bypass the obstacle, the unmanned forklift smoothly reduces speed and stops at a safe distance.

3D lidar option: IntraBot autonomous forklift robots can be equipped with an additional 3D camera that scans the space above and below the working line of the 2D scanners.

Vision system: Advanced cameras installed in the AMR mobile robots allow them to position themselves precisely in relation to baskets or pallets. This ensures maximum precision when picking up loads and allows flexible adaptation even to shifted or incorrectly positioned logistics units.

Signalling: The entire safety system is complemented by built-in light and sound signalling.

How do AMR forklifts ensure secure Wi-Fi communication?

Another important aspect of robot safety concerns communication via Wi-Fi. The connection with the IntraFleet fleet management system is maintained continuously. If cybersecurity of the IT network infrastructure is a priority for your company, we can equip IntraBot autonomous forklift robots with a unique Wi-Fi communication encryption solution.

This technology effectively prevents any unauthorised attempts to connect to the customer’s internal IT infrastructure, ensuring full protection of operational data.

How does artificial intelligence support the recognition of logistics units?

Correct identification of multiple load types is often a key criterion when selecting a robot fleet. For a standard AGV, even a different pallet colour may be a challenge. IntraBot autonomous forklift robots set a new standard in this area.

AI-based recognition module: Thanks to machine vision technology, the mobile forklift robot “intelligently” learns to recognise new logistics units and adapts its actions to the knowledge it has acquired.

Marking identification and automatic decision-making: The system can identify logistics unit markings and, based on this information, decide which transport mission should be selected. As a result, the right components are delivered to the right recipients.

Local operation, Edge AI: Importantly for IT security departments, the artificial intelligence system operates directly on the robot and does not require a connection to an external data cloud. This is another important element supporting IT security.

Where are IntraBot robots manufactured? How does automatic charging work?

Reliability and ease of use result directly from high-quality workmanship and the highest engineering standards.

Made in Poland: IntraBot mobile robots are manufactured in Gliwice using components from renowned suppliers. The selection of control components and safety systems from European manufacturers guarantees reliability. These components are well known to maintenance teams from other machines used in factories.

LFP battery performance: An LFP battery is a lithium-ion battery with a lithium iron phosphate cathode, LiFePO₄, characterised by high safety, long service life and thermal stability. Charging from 0 to 100% takes 2.5 hours and provides up to 10 hours of autonomous operation.

Automatic charging: Energy management is supervised by IntraFleet management software, which manages the execution of fleet missions. When the battery level of a forklift drops below a defined value, the system automatically sends the machine to the docking station, while its current logistics tasks are smoothly transferred to another available robot in the network.

IntraFleet is Etisoft Smart Solutions’ proprietary Polish system. It is an intuitive web application for managing a fleet of AMR mobile robots, enabling efficient organisation of internal transport based on requests. IntraFleet automatically plans and assigns logistics tasks to robots and monitors their execution at every stage, ensuring maximum process flow.
The system continuously monitors battery charge levels and automatically directs machines to docking stations, smoothly transferring their tasks to the next available robots in the network. This eliminates the risk of downtime in your facility and maximises the efficiency of the entire fleet.
