An RFID tag that can survive extreme conditions
Industrial asset tracking requires equipment that can handle where other technologies fail. High temperatures, impacts, dust or moisture – in such conditions, delicate RFID labels simply give up. The Rhino HT-HTP 4129 is an industrial tag designed to work in the harshest environments.
Rugged RFID tag
The Rhino HT-HTP 4129 is a massive, passive RAIN (UHF) RFID tag specifically designed for mounting on metal surfaces. It uses a PEEK casing – a material used in aerospace and medical applications – that is resistant to chemicals, abrasion and extreme temperatures. Thanks to this, the tag retains full functionality in places where traditional solutions are damaged after a few days of operation.

Compliance with EPC Global Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C standards guarantees full integration with existing RFID systems. The device operates in the ETSI (865-868 MHz) and FCC (902-928 MHz) bands, achieving a read range of up to 7 meters in the European market and up to 8 meters in the U.S. market. The onboard NXP UCODE 8 chip offers 96-128 bits of EPC memory, up to 100,000 cycles of write endurance and up to 20 years of data retention.
RFID tag for special tasks
This tag was created for special tasks. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +200°C, and it can withstand up to 300°C for 100 hours in short periods. IP68 protects it from dust and immersion in water, and IP69K protects it from high-pressure water jets. Mechanical tests have shown a pressure resistance of 150 MPa, which allows it to be mounted directly on industrial machines without fear of damage.

Applications of Rugged RFID Tags
The Rhino HT-HTP 4129 is used wherever reliable identification is important – from steel mills and foundries to oil rigs and refineries to warehouses in ATEX zones. It can be mounted on containers, metal pallets, tools or elements of production lines subjected to high temperatures.
The manufacturer has provided for simple and reliable mechanical assembly – four M2 screws ensure stable fastening even under vibrations and impacts. Alternatively, the tag can be melted into the component, which further protects it from damage or disassembly. The distributor also offers an EPC pre-coding service, so that the device arrives at the customer fully ready for operation.

Advantages of Ultra-Robust RFID Tags
Rhino HT-HTP 4129 is an investment in the control and safety of your assets. It does not require a power supply, operates for years, and its resistance to environmental factors minimizes the risk of interruptions in the operation of the identification system. It’s for businesses that don’t compromise on reliability.
