Security labels

Security label – constitutes a kind of protection against unauthorised access to the product or its packaging. An attempt to remove the label results in its damage. As a consequence, it is impossible to use it again, and such attempt becomes visible. Depending on the materials used, a security label delaminates during an attempt to peel it off revealing a caption (usually VOID) or tears off which makes it impossible to peel it off as a whole.

  • a security label is a part of guarantee systems
  • simple information about unauthorised interference
  • it secures the interests of manufacturers and suppliers

Warranty seals

Seal labels are used to protect electronic devices and computers against unauthorized opening. Attempting to open it results in the destruction of the label and, as a consequence, the loss of the warranty. The warranty seal crumbles, delaminates or makes the VOID inscription visible when it is attempted to break. Sealing labels applied to the packaging also have a theft protection function and are a confirmation of the original product.

  • protection of elements against unwanted manipulation
  • Label resistance to harsh environments
  • Proven solution in the electronics industry

Security labels

Seal labels used to protect the packaging of exclusive products have not only a protective function, but also an image function. Their task is to ensure the integrity of the content and to provide the customer with the certainty that the product is genuine. In the case of premium goods, aesthetics are also important – these labels are often distinguished by elegant design, high quality materials and additional elements such as holograms or unique serial numbers.

  • protecting product packaging from theft
  • confirmation of the originality of the product
  • hologram seal labels

Seal labels in the medical industry

Sealing labels are used to secure cassettes and containers with biological material, during storage or during transport. The seal protects the laboratory material from unauthorized interference. When you try to peel it off, the label is destroyed, which makes it impossible to detach and re-stick it in its entirety. Seal labels can also be used to protect cabinets, drawers and laboratory rooms, as a complement to the labels within  the etiCALLS system.

  • protection of samples and documents against unauthorized interference
  • excellent adhesion of labels to various surfaces
  • Label resistance to moisture, chemicals, high and low temperatures

Labels for securing medicine packaging

Anti Tempering labels are used to protect medicine packages from unauthorized opening. The security label allows you to verify that the packaging with medicines has not been tampered with during distribution and sale. Security labels can be made of materials that are damaged or permanently damage the surface of the box when you try to open the package. Anti Tempering Device security labels are packaged in rolls that allow the use of automatic application systems.

  • label resistance from -60oC to +130oC
  • adhesion to lacquered packaging
  • transparent label does not cover the graphics on the packaging
  • possibility of perforation on the label

Anti-tampering label

An anti-tampering label is a type of marking that confirms that the product has been originally packaged, and the mechanism has not been opened by unauthorized persons. Warranty seals for electronic devices, equipment, or machinery most frequently constitute the basis for providing free repairs under the applicable warranty. The absence of a warranty seal or any sign of tampering often indicates attempts at self-repair, which may result in voiding the warranty. Anti-tampering labels are also used to secure pharmaceuticals. An intact anti-tampering label confirms that the packaging has not been opened during transport or at the point of sale.

Anti-tampering labels – types

Anti-tampering labels are made of special foil that splits or shatters when tampered with or removed. As a result, they cannot be applied again, and any interference becomes visible. The most common types of anti-tampering labels include:

  • VOID seal
  • PURPLE STOP seal
  • destructible label
  • crackable tamper-evident label.

Anti-tampering label – where is it used?

Anti-tampering labels are most frequently associated with computers, electronic devices, and machines. However, in practice, their application is much broader.  Anti-tampering labels are used not only to protect warranties but also to secure the contents from being accessed by third parties. Anti-tampering labels applied to drug packages make it possible to verify that the package has not been tampered with during distribution and sale. Anti-tampering labels are also used to secure valuable items during transport.
