RFID antennas

RFID antennas are used for wireless data transmission between an RFID tag and a reader. Antennas send radio waves that activate RFID tags, and then receive signals sent by these tags. The received information is transmitted to the RFID reader, which decodes and processes it. One of the key parameters of RFID antennas is the frequency at which they operate. It has a major impact on the read range and quality, although it is not the only factor. The polarization of the antenna, or the direction and angle at which radio waves propagate, is also significant. Selecting the right RFID antenna depends on the specific application, whether it will be installed in an RFID gate, on a production line, in a warehouse, or in a store, as well as on the type of tags, their distribution, and environmental conditions. Our product range includes antennas from renowned manufacturers, such as Zebra and Alien Technology.

RFID antennas for heavy-duty applications

RFID antennas are specialized, high-performance, and robust devices designed for use in harsh industrial and outdoor environments. They feature high transmit power, enabling precise, long-range simultaneous reading of multiple RFID tags. Their design is resistant to water, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures, frequently meeting IP65 or IP67 standards. Rugged RFID antennas are perfect for applications in logistics, manufacturing, warehouses, and cold stores due to their robust housing. They typically operate within the UHF frequency range (860-960 MHz), but there are also versions for other frequency ranges.

Low-profile RFID antennas

Low-profile RFID antennas are thin antennas designed for installation in areas with limited space or where aesthetics and discretion are essential. Thanks to their flat design, they can be installed under conveyor belts, under countertops, in built-in furniture, under ceilings, or inside equipment housings. Despite their compact size, they provide effective reading of RFID tags, usually within the UHF or HF band. Their lightweight, and frequently waterproof, housing makes it possible to mount them both inside and outside facilities. Low-profile RFID antennas are used in access control systems, smart buildings, transportation, and logistics.

Wide-band RFID antennas

Wide-band RFID antennas have been designed to operate across a wide frequency range from 860 MHz to 960 MHz to support a broad range of RFID tag standards and types. This makes them ideal for international applications (Europe, Asia, America) where different UHF bands and different identification systems are applicable. Wide-band RFID antennas provide reliable reading of RFID tags under changing conditions and are resistant to RF interference. Wide-band antennas are used in international distribution centers and industrial automation, where a single device is expected to handle multiple tag types.
