IntraBot Picker autonomous transport robot

The IntraBot Picker is an Autonomous Case-handling Robot designed to transport standard KLT warehouse containers between racks and picking stations. The IntraBot Picker autonomously picks 7 KLT containers from a rack or conveyor, places them one by one on their shelves, and then transports them to the picking area. With advanced hybrid navigation technology and an installed vision system, the IntraBot Picker moves and positions itself with great precision against the racks and other warehouse infrastructure.  The Autonomous Case-handling Robot, designed for automatic handling of warehouse racks, is dedicated to zones excluded from human traffic. Nevertheless, if an obstacle or human is detected, the IntraBot Picker robot is halted.

A single IntraBot Picker can replace several warehouse workers. The robot, which operates for 12-16 hours in warehouses that require continuous transport of containers, increases process efficiency and yields a return on investment in a short time.

FLEXIBILITY

Fitted with laser space scanners and load presence sensors, the IntraBot Picker ensures safe operation, avoiding obstacles and keeping the warehouse environment safe. Advanced sensors as well as light and sound signals provide full control over its operation.

Applications of the IntraBot Picker autonomous robot

The IntraBot Picker is perfect for large warehouses where automation of transport of standard containers is required. It independently picks up containers of goods from roller conveyors, transports them to the designated storage location, and places them on the shelves with great precision. It ensures 24/7 continuity of warehouse operations.

In the warehouse area:

  • picking up containers from roller conveyors and transporting them to storage areas,
  • automatic stacking of containers on designated shelves,
  • transporting containers with goods to picking stations,
  • organizing empty containers.

Mobile robot management software

AGVs and AMRs are supervised by the IntraFleet system. The IntraFleet fleet management system makes it possible to design logistics processes and manage the movement of robots, taking into account the infrastructure of the production hall and warehouse, as well as employees moving around. The IntraFleet system is a web-based application that plans single or combined missions within the framework of a single course, manages robot movement, e.g., by avoiding collisions and congestion, provides necessary statistics, and cooperates with ERP/MES/WMS ensuring automatic exchange of data with the customer’s systems in real time.

Integration into the customer’s systems

In addition to the robot fleet management software, we also specialize in system integration using database technologies. In the course of implementation, we connect our intralogistics systems based on AGVs/AMRs to the customer’s systems like MES, WMS, and ERP. By doing so, we ensure full integration of IT systems in the factory and automatic triggering of orders for robots from the customer’s internal system.

WE ANALYSE, DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT

Together with our company Etisoft Smart Solutions, we provide complete internal logistics systems based on various types of AGVs and AMRs. When preparing a customized offer, we conduct a pre-implementation analysis, design the whole system, and simulate the implementation. The objective of the analysis is to assess the customer’s processes and logistics infrastructure and to prepare a concept for load transport using AGVs or AMRs. The pre-implementation analysis helps to decide on the implementation and presents the level of required investments, as well as benefits for the customer after the implementation of the automated intralogistics system.
