Honorable mention fot Etisoft from Signify for Most Innovative Ideas!
Good and fresh ideas are always at a premium! They build competitive advantage, generate savings, and make growth and development possible. Let’s add to that a creative approach and awareness of our capabilities. The result? The honorable mention for Most Innovative Ideas was given to our colleagues Bartłomiej Jenerowicz and Tomasz Wojciechowski, who represented Etisoft during the Supplier Early Engagement Days (SEED). This event has been held for several years and is organized by Signify, a leader in the lighting market and our long-standing key customer.
The SEED program gathers key representatives of Signify’s partners working with the company at different levels. “Together with our strategic partners, we are working on conceptual value-creation opportunities to improve our current and future portfolio. We draw on our partners’ knowledge about added value and improve our working practices, processes, and operational business performance,” Signify’s representatives explain the idea of these meetings.
Our company participates in this ‘brainstorm’ every year. This year Bartek and Tomek presented as many as 32 possible improvements to be implemented at Signify! Drawing on many years of experience, they included products from our offer. They also tried to transfer implementations carried out at the customers representing other industries to Signify.
“From the point of view of such a company as Signify, one of the most interesting solutions we proposed was the use of industrial velcro as an alternative to components screwed joined using screws or adhesives. This solution is commonly used in the automotive industry, however, our experience shows that it will also work well in the lighting industry. Another idea worth considering is copper labels with heat-conductive adhesive, which is significant in operating electronic devices,” Bartek and Tomek emphasize.
Our ideas fell on fertile ground and received plenty of interest from the participants, including Signify’s executives and dozens of other suppliers. We believe that the honorable mention we received was well-deserved! Congratulations!
