Wind the label roller, so as the labels are not located under the print head. Load a new printing ribbon roll with the Clean Start system to the feeder.
Step 2
Lead the printing ribbon lead-in under the print head, until the Clean Start end is extruding by approx. 2 cm (spot marked in Clean Start ribbon with a dotted line).
Step 3
Close the print head.
Step 4
Grasp the extruding Clean Start section on both sides of the ribbon. Delicately and with an even force, pull the Clean Start cleaning ribbon until the next dotted line appears under the header (approx. 20 cm). The cleaning process is completed.
Step 5
Open the print head. Load the labels and printing ribbon in the usual manner.
