Error message, error type, troubleshooting:
1) Battery
* battery discharged – the error message is displayed for some time and then the printer returns to normal mode. Replace the lithium battery (CR2032). When the battery is discharged, the internal printer clock is stopped and the memory is erased.
2) ColdHead
* low head temperature. The error message is displayed for some time and then the printer returns to normal mode. If possible, raise the ambient temperature in the proximity of the printer. At low temperatures, print thickness and quality is poor.
3) ColdPCB
* low temperature measured on the printer’s motherboard. The error message is displayed for some time and then the printer returns to normal mode. If possible, raise the ambient temperature in the proximity of the printer. At low temperatures, print thickness and quality is poor.
4) HeadErr
* incorrect print head resistance value. The message is displayed until the STOP button is pressed. Replace the print head. Incorrect print head resistance results in low printout quality.
5) OverFlow
* communication error (buffer overflow). The message is displayed until the STOP button is pressed. Check the transmission parameters and connection cable quality.
6) S/I Err
* communication error (frame error). The error message is displayed for some time and then the printer returns to normal mode. Check the transmission parameters and connection cable quality.
7) HostBusy
* communication error (buffer overflow). The message is displayed until the STOP button is pressed. Check the transmission parameters and connection cable quality.
8) Pause
* The PAUSE key was pressed. Press the PAUSE key again to continue printing. Press the STOP key to erase the printed label data from the printer memory.
9) Pause
* The PAUSE command sent from the computer (remote control). Press the PAUSE key again to continue printing. Press the STOP key to erase the printed label data from the printer memory.
10) OverHeat Cooling
* the print head overheated. Wait until the print head temperature returns to its normal range. The printer will restart label printing.
11) Stop
* the STOP button was pressed. When the STOP is pressed, the printer will switch to PAUSE mode.
12) Stop
* the STOP command sent from the computer (remote control). When STOP is pressed, the printer will switch to the PAUSE mode.
13) HeadOpen
* the print head mechanism is open. Close the print head mechanism.
14) PaperEnd
* end of the label roll. Load a new label roll.
15) PaperErr
* the paper position cannot be detected. The message is displayed until the STOP button is pressed. Regulate the sensor (photocell) position or change the printed material to a type recognized by the printer. The voltage difference on the photocell should exceed 0.8V.
16) RibbonOut
* end of thermal transfer printing ribbon. Load a new ribbon. In the case of color ribbons, due to their transparency, it may be necessary to switch the printer mode to thermal (direct) printing.
17) OverHeat
* the motherboard overheated. Switch off the printer’s power supply. If the error reiterates, when the printer is turned on, contact the technical support.
18) OP Err
* error in auxiliary equipment. Switch off the printer’s power supply. If the error reiterates, when the printer is turned on, contact the technical support.
19) Cut Err
* cutter error. Switch off the printer’s power supply and remove any spoilage from the cutter, which can result in incorrect operation. If the error reiterates, when the printer is turned on, contact the technical support.
20) ROM Er
* ROM memory checksum error. Switch off the printer’s power supply. If the error reiterates, when the printer is turned on, contact the technical support.
21) RAM Er
* RAM memory checksum error. Switch off the printer’s power supply. If the error reiterates, when the printer is turned on, contact the technical support.
22) ---
* system error (e.g. central unit or clock failure). Ensure, whether the system is secured and reset the device.
