Problem, reason and troubleshooting:
* The printer does not print at all
- connection cable is not connected properly – check the cable connection into the printer and computer
* Error messages appear and the printer does not print
- the used cable type is inappropriate – replace the cable with a suitable one
* Random characters are printed
- communication parameters are wrong – set the correct serial transmission parameters in the printer and in the computer
