Textile care labels are commonly used for marking clothing and home textiles. Information printed with the thermal transfer technique ? washing recommendation, size, fabrics used - are resistant to washing and chemical dry cleaning.
Self-adhesive textile labels are used commercially for marking shoes, carpets, linings and mattresses. Textiles for hot ironing, e.g. onto working clothing are also available.
