ETISOFT, based in Gliwice, was founded in 1993. Since the very beginning, the primary business of the company has been thermal transfer printing. As an authorized processor and distributor of technical self-adhesive foils from 3M, ETISOFT became one of the biggest Polish suppliers of self-adhesive labels for industrial applications.
Since 1996, ETISOFT has been the official representative of CITIZEN in Poland and offers a full range of industrial printers, authorized warranty and post-warranty service, and the availability of original spare parts and consumables for thermal transfer printers.
To further develop the company ,new products and system solutions are now on offer. ZEBEX barcode scanners and data collectors joined the list of these products. The development of Polish-language software for thermal transfer printers, together with versions enhanced with additional modules, enabled the company to utilize the devices in full and to propose ready-made system solutions.
Intensive market demand for high-quality consumables spurred the decision to purchase equipment for coloring ribbon confectioning. Since that time, ETISOFT has been the biggest Polish processor of thermal transfer ribbons from renowned manufacturers (RICOH, SONY, IIMAK, DYNIC, DNP). Thanks to the commitment to regular investment, the company has the most modern machine park for label manufacturing and printing.
The necessity to react quickly to the needs of customers from all over Poland was the reason for the development of ETISOFT distributors’ network. The further development of the company was marked by opening of the Czech Republic branch (2002) and German branch (2004). Close cooperation between the branches and rapid order execution are the basic criteria for the effective operation of the ETISOFT group.
Aiming to maintain the constant improvement of the product and service quality, the company implemented a quality management system under ISO 9001:2000 standard. The proof of the correct operation of the system is a certificate issued by TÜV CERT.
In late 2005, ETISOFT was accepted into the Business Gazelles’ 2005 ranking list. In order to gain such merit it was necessary to meet stringent criteria, not easily achievable in the reality of the Polish economy. Business Gazelles is Poland's biggest and most prestigious list of the most dynamically developing small and medium enterprises. Amongst 3,108 companies selected for the evaluation in 2005, ETISOFT was ranked as 624th in the national ranking list and 104th in the provincial list.
In August 2006 the company moved to its own, new head office. The renovated building with an area of 3000 square meters holds the manufacturing hall, raw material and finished product warehouses, office spaces and modern research labs. In 2006 the company also purchased new equipment for digital printing and laser cutting, and some new products appeared in the offer.
In 2006, ETISOFT sp. z o.o. was once again accepted into the Business Gazelles ranking and was listed as no.145 in the Silesian province.
The coming years saw the development of the national network of authorized distributors. In 2006 the company opened a new branch in the Ukraine, and in 2008 – in Slovakia. At the moment ETISOFT has 6 branches in Poland and 4 foreign branches.
In 2008, the company has implemented the Environmental Management System according to the ISO 14001:2004. The confirmation of proper implementation is the certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland CERT GmbH.
On 2nd of February 2009, improving the management efficiency, the Etisoft Company implemented the unequivocally specified and documented The Integrated Management System based on requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004.
In 2009 the company was once again qualified to the group of Business Gazelles – the most dynamic companies in Poland.

In 2010 the Etisoft company became authorized partner of Zebra, obtaining ZASP (Zebra Authorized Service Provider) certification at the same time and extended its offer to Label-Aire devices for automatic labels’ application directly on production lines.
In the same year company has opened a new sales office in Denmark – Etisoft Nordic which aim is to service customers in Scandinavia.
In 2010, the company was again included in the ranking of Business Gazelles and joined the United Nations Global Compact - an organization promoting corporate social responsibility.
